Festus Oderanti

 F. Oderanti is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at the University of Hertfordshire Business School. Prior to joining University of Hertfordshire, Festus was a Lecturer in Knowledge and Information Management and the Program Manager for MSc in Digital and Social Media Marketing at Plymouth University Business School (July 2013- June 2016).

In the last 17 years, he has been involved in teaching and research in the areas of business model development, management and commercial sustainability of digital (eHealth) innovations, and decision making under uncertainty as well as knowledge management.
Dr. Oderanti has been involved in a number of high profile research projects (August 2014 to July 2016). He is a Co-Investigator (CI) on the recent Erasmus Plus project titled “Developing online tool to fostering entrepreneurship in the retail sector of young people under 30 years”. Prior to that, Festus worked full time with the Newcastle University Business School as a Research Fellow on Sustainable Business Models for Assisted Living Technologies & Services (SALT) project. This £2 m project (2011-2014) was led by Newcastle University under the Assisted Living Innovation Platform (ALIP).
Dr. Oderanti was the local organizer for the EWG-DSS 2016 International Conference on Decision Support System Technology (ICDSST2016: www.icdsst2016.wordpress.com).

Festus was also an invited speaker on eHealth Innovations and business models at the Economic and Business Modeling Final Workshop on 12th March 2014, London. The workshop was organized by the Innovate UK. The purpose of the workshop was to look and deliberate on the various results and findings from all eHealth ALIPS 3 & 4 projects. He was an Invited Speaker at the Higher Education Academy Workshop titled “innovative approaches to experiential teaching in Management Decision Making education May 2014”.

He is a member of the Editorial Review Board (ERB) of the Journal of Business Research (JBR).

Dr. Oderanti is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Member of British Computer Society (MBCS), Member, British Academy of Management and Member of Nigeria Computer Society (MNCS).

He has recently published over 30 refereed papers on high quality international journals and conferences.
